Our story
The shop on South Van Ness
Pepe's Auto Repair is an independent shop at 1500 S Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco. We handle car repair and maintenance — the diagnostics, the parts, and the labor — under one roof, and we tell you what your car actually needs.
We're open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Customers come to us when something has gone wrong at the wrong time: a check engine light before a long drive, a car that has to be running again today. When we can turn a job around the same day, we do.
Call the shop, tell us what the car is doing, and we'll tell you straight what it takes to fix it.
- Independent, owner-run shop
- Weekday hours, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Same-day work when the job allows
What customers say
“My check engine light came on, and I had to leave in two hours for Los Angeles. In Pepe's workshop they changed the sparks and ignition coil, and two hours later I was already leaving. My problem is solved and I'm already in LA. Thanks!”
“Pepe is the best. Always takes care of me last minute and at a reasonable price. The first time I met him he gave me a price half of what I was going to pay.”
“I rated him 5 stars because of the time he takes to help out people of any class. If you got an issue with your car he the best shop to come to, I promise you won't be disappointed with the service.”
